Special Congregational Meeting February 28, 2010

There will be a special Congregational Meeting February 28th after Worship Service to consider the resolution:

BE IT RESOLVED that the congregations of St. James Lutheran Church of Gloversville, NY and Christ Lutheran Church of Johnstown, NY hereby agree to authorize their respective Church Councils to commence a study process designed to explore various options for greater mutual cooperation, up to and including the possible blending (consolidation) of these two congregations. This action is authorized with the understanding that the members of each congregation will be provided ample opportunity to be part of this deliberative process and will be kept fully informed by their respective Church Councils on a regular basis. It should also be understood that any and all actions resulting from this study would be presented to each congregation for a vote before implementation.
